How To Install External Android APK File On Your Android Smartphone | Side Load

Google Play Store is our hub to download most of the Android apps.Installing android apk files from Play Store is very easy. Select the app and hit download button and it will automatically install it on android device.

Sometimes we will be using external websites and resource to download android apps for our device. For that we need to search for apk files and should manually install, or “side load”, apps onto your Android device. When you try to install it on your device your device will refuse you to install the downloaded app. But how do you do this?

1.Download the APK file of the app which you’d like to install.

2.Copy the APK file to the device. Doesn’t matter where you put but remember the location.

3.Before installing the APK file, you’ll need to tell your device that it can install any apps outside of the Play Store. It’s one time setting. To do this head over to the below location and check mark this option.

Go > Settings >Applications > Unknown Sources

4.Once this is enabled, locate the APK file, and open it. Now your device will identify that the APK file is an app, and ask you whether you’d like to go ahead and install it.Accept them and after a couple seconds, your app should be installed and ready to go!

If your sure about what your installing then only proceed and install the third party apps.

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
