Asus India has finally launched the new Zenfone 2 smartphone in India. Asus Zenfone 2 comes with a 5.5-inch of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS display screen, powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor, loaded with 4GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based Zen UI and includes 3000 mAh battery inside.The Zenfone 2 starts from Rs.12,999 onwards.
There are total of 5 different variants and are available from lowest price to highest price, and all variants are called as Zenfone 2 only.Three variants of the Zenfone 2 are available in Indian market.Zenfone 2 smartphones are available via Flipkart and in Asus stores offline.

Model ZE550ML sports a 5.5 inch screen with HD resolution which loads with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage and corning gorilla glass 3 protection. There is 13MP primary camera (PixelMaster) and a 5MP secondary camera. There is micro SD card slot that supports up to 64GB. Handset supports 4G and is powered by 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3560 quad core processor coupled with PowerVR G6430 GPU. This model is priced at Rs.12,999 which is available in White,Black and Red colors
Model ZE551ML will be available in two variants 1.8GHz quad core processor (Intel Atom Z3560) with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage / 2.3GHz quad core processor (Intel Atom Z3580 ) with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. This model sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with 4G LTE support and gorilla glass 3 protection. This also comes packed with 13MP PixelMaster camera on the rear with LED flash and 5MP camera on the front which runs on Android Lollipop with ZenUI which lasts with 3000 mAh battery.This one is priced at Rs.14,999 for 2GB RAM variant with 16GB memory and Rs.19,999 for 4GB RAM with 32GB memory
